Marisa Kirisame: What? Please tell us!
Nitori Kawashiro: It appears that Spoony was made into a vessel for a swarm of cosmic souls coming from the wormhole we saw earlier in space. Something, or someone, must have severed Spoony's mental connection with the interlinking conscience of these souls, Ma-Ti, causing all those souls to come rushing out of Spoony's body and into here.
Marisa Kirisame: And what are we gonna do?
